Our canine hemp extract comes in 3 sizes so that you can give your dog a specified amount based on his/her weight. Unlike other CBD products, no more guessing as to how many drops you have given. To enhance the flavor, we have added peanut butter flavoring – sure to become your dog’s favorite! Our dogs lick this off our hands. Our product has no detectable THC, so don’t worry about your fur baby getting high.

Our large dog formula (for dogs greater than 60 pounds) has the most cannabinoids of any of our canine products with 30 mg of CBD and 10 mg CBG per ml. We have added myrcene, beta caryophyllene and humulene to ensure the added benefit of the entourage effect.

What are the benefits of CBD and CBG for your pet?

Animals, like humans, have an endocannabinoid system that can be stimulated by CBD and CBG to promote homeostasis and support a healthy immune and inflammatory response. Our pets often develop age-related issues such as joint stiffness and discomfort. Our hemp extract has been specially formulated to enhance bone and joint health, help reduce oxidative injury, and, when given regularly, it may help support the immune system.

Oxidative injury is caused by an imbalance between free radicals and antioxidants in the body. When the body cannot neutralize these free radicals, they cause damage to cells and tissues.

Terpenes

Terpenes are natural, organic compounds found in the flower/bud of the cannabis plant that are responsible for the aroma, flavor, and color of plants. While terpenes are a very important part of the cannabis plant; they are generally so low in hemp that it is difficult to have high enough quantities to be worth mentioning. We felt it was important to add them in sufficient quantities to ensure that your pet benefits from the entourage effect.

The terpenes that we have added are:

• Myrcene which has a fruity, earthy aroma. In addition to hemp, it is found in sweet basil, mangos, and
  hops and has been used for centuries to minimize harmful bacteria, support better sleep, and relieve occasional discomfort
• Beta carophyllene which has spicy, woody aroma that may smell like cloves and it has been touted to reduce harmful bacteria, support a healthy inflammatory response, and protect nerve cells against age-related decline
• Humulene has floral, peppery or woody scent and is purported to minimize harmful bacteria and supports a healthy inflammatory response
